Ian and Harriet have recently returned from their recital tour of the Netherlands. Harriet is fast developing a reputation both in recital and on stage: Ian is a returning artist to this festival and has performed with a plethora of famous singers.

In an intriguing and wide-ranging programme, Strauss and Korngold give us their take on Shakespeare, Strauss with his Ophelia songs. We hear Cheryl Frances - Hoad and Judith Weir for the first time here, with selections from their Magic Lantern Tales and Scotch Minstrelsy. Stanford and Schubert conjure up some scary figures.
